Lord Bradley opens Manchester International College campus

LordBradleyThe Right Honourable Lord Bradley of Withington officially opened the new campus of Manchester International College on Thursday 31st May. Lord Bradley opened the million pound campus at a ceremony attended by key figures from education, business, foreign embassies and politics.

Manchester International College has been providing first class education and training since 2002 and, with the opening of the new international campus in central Manchester, is expanding its course provisions in Business, IT, Health & Social care and English Language Programmes to overseas students.

Tony Lloyd, Labour MP for Manchester Central, spoke about Manchester as a growing destination for international students and highlighted the diversity and multi-cultural aspects of Manchester.

Tony LloydSGuests were shown around the campus and had the chance to experience MIC’s innovative VLE eLearning system and other key features of the newly opened college.

MIC has been teaching students in the North-West of England since 2002 and has taught over 30,000 students. With 15 centres across the region and 2 in London, MIC has ambitious growth and development plans. Quality is crucial to MIC’s success and with the development of and focus on innovative teaching and course delivery, we will continue to lead the way in international education.
